Our Story

Our story began in 2015 in Durban as a father-and-son passion project, inspired by the city’s rich culture of spices and curries. Learning from locals, we started experimenting in the kitchen, crafting bold sauces purely for the love of flavour.


Using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, our sauces quickly gained a following — what began with friends soon turned into locals asking to buy from us regularly.


Our journey later led us to Pretoria, where, after the loss of Debby — wife, mother, and the heart of our family — we committed fully to building something meaningful in her honour, investing all our time and energy into the business.


Today, our sauces are proudly available in places like Kingsmead, Berliner, Sloans, and beyond. Our vision is simple: to be stocked in every local butchery, sharing flavour made with heart across South Africa. 

Dean - Owner & Visionary

The father behind the brand, is the creative force and brainpower driving everything we do. He spends countless hours researching flavours, refining techniques, and developing each recipe from the ground up. From concept to final taste, every sauce starts with Dean’s vision — carefully crafted, tested, and perfected until it’s worthy of the bottle.

Devon - Co-owner & chef

The son and the hands behind the brand, is the chef who brings every recipe to life. He’s in the kitchen daily, carefully crafting, cooking, and bottling each batch with precision and pride. Where ideas meet execution, Devon ensures every sauce is made consistently, passionately, and to the highest standard — turning vision into flavour, one bottle at a time.
